Atomic Market 2014

On Saturday the 18th of October was the 5th annual Atomic Market. The Atomic Market takes place in Hamilon, New Zealand at the Jukebox Diner. Rows of marquis are set up in the car park that show case stalls from some of the best vintage/retro style retailers in New Zealand. Also part of the Atomic Market are live bands, a best dressed competition and fashion shows from local designers. If you're feeling peckish, the Jukebox Diner is right there to fill the spot. Their curly fries and milkshakes are my favourite :)

My highlight of the day was being a catwalk model for Honey L'Amour's fashion show for her new Tiki Time collection. Honey is a New Zealand designer who is inspired by all things pinup, rockabilly and kitsch. I will be writing up a separate blog post on Honey L'Amour, just cause I love her designs so much :) Make sure to check out her page here.

After the fashion show, I spent most of my time in the Jukebox diner having a bite to eat and catching up with awesome people. Also making time for lots of photo ops ;)

The Atomic Market was such a wicked day. If you live in the northern area of New Zealand, make sure to check it out next year. The market just keeps growing every year. I am really looking forward to what they will have install for 2015.
